# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They come together in under 20 minutes with no baking required, just a quick chill.
  • The citrus zest gives them a refreshing brightness that feels indulgent without being heavy.
  • Theyre naturally customizable, swap nuts, add dried fruit, or drizzle with dark chocolate.
  • Perfect for grabbing on busy mornings or packing in lunchboxes without guilt.
02 -
  • If you skip chilling them, the clusters will fall apart the moment you pick them up, learned that the hard way on my first batch.
  • Use fresh citrus zest, not the dried stuff from a jar, the flavor difference is night and day.
  • Press the clusters firmly when shaping them or theyll crumble instead of holding together.
03 -
  • Taste the mixture before shaping, if it needs more sweetness or citrus, adjust it now while its still easy to mix.
  • Let the coconut oil cool slightly before adding it so it doesnt melt the honey too fast and make everything runny.
  • Press the clusters firmly and shape them while the mixture is still slightly warm, they hold together better that way.
