Warm Kale with Garlic Lemon (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 large bunch kale (about 9 oz), stems removed and leaves torn into bite-sized pieces
02 - 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

→ Nuts & Seeds

03 - 2 tbsp sliced almonds or chopped walnuts, toasted

→ Oils & Condiments

04 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
06 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Finish

07 - 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
08 - Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (omit for vegan)

# How To Make:

01 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
02 - Add the sliced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
03 - Add the kale and toss to coat with the oil and garlic. Sauté for 4–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until wilted and tender.
04 - Season with salt and black pepper.
05 - Remove from heat. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with toasted nuts (and Parmesan, if using). Serve immediately while warm.
