# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • You'll feel satisfied for hours without the heavy breakfast crash that usually follows by lunchtime
  • The turmeric chickpeas become slightly crispy in spots, creating this incredible texture contrast against soft wilted spinach
  • Everything comes together in under 30 minutes but tastes like something from a restaurant brunch menu
02 -
  • The chickpeas continue crisping slightly from residual heat, so remove them while they look a touch underdone
  • Don't crowd your skillet or the chickpeas will steam instead of crisp. Use your largest pan.
  • Spinach retains water, so you might see moisture in the pan. This is normal and actually helps the wilting process.
03 -
  • Pat your chickpeas completely dry with paper towels before cooking for maximum crispness
  • Warm your bowls slightly in the oven before serving to keep everything hotter longer
