05 - Pinch of salt
06 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

15 - 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (optional)

# How To Make:

01 - Combine the oats, milk, ground cardamom, cinnamon, salt, and maple syrup in a medium saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for 7-10 minutes until the oats are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.
02 - While the oats are cooking, heat the butter or coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced pears, brown sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the pears are tender and caramelized. Stir in the nuts, if using, and cook for 1 more minute.
03 - Divide the cooked oats between two bowls. Top each with half of the spiced pears.
04 - Garnish with chia seeds and a dollop of yogurt, if desired. Serve warm.
