01 - In a medium saucepan, combine oats, milk, water, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
02 - Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats are creamy and tender.
03 - Stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
04 - Remove from heat and divide porridge between two bowls.
05 - Top with diced apple, pomegranate seeds, and chopped nuts. Drizzle with extra maple syrup if desired. Serve warm.
