07 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
11 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
12 - 1 small garlic clove, minced
13 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# How To Make:

01 - Thoroughly wash all vegetables to remove any dirt or residues.
02 - Cut cucumbers diagonally into 1/4-inch thick oval slices, then arrange them in overlapping rows forming a fan shape on a large serving platter.
03 - Peel carrots, then slice diagonally into thin ovals similar in size to the cucumber slices. Arrange next to the cucumber slices continuing the fan pattern.
04 - Cut red and yellow bell peppers into thin strips and arrange them in sections beside the cucumbers and carrots to add color contrast.
05 - Place cherry tomatoes and sugar snap peas in small clusters at the base or sides of the fan arrangement for visual appeal.
06 - Combine Greek yogurt, chopped chives, dill, parsley, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and evenly blended.
07 - Transfer the dip into a small serving bowl and place it on or beside the arranged vegetables.
08 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It turns everyday vegetables into something that makes guests stop and admire before they even take a bite
  • The herbed yogurt dip is so good you'll find yourself making it for everything
02 -
  • Slicing your vegetables as uniformly as possible makes the fan shape work, I keep my slices between a quarter and a third of an inch and that sweet spot gives you sturdy pieces that still look delicate
  • Making the dip ahead actually improves it, the flavors meld together in the fridge and after an hour or two it tastes even better than fresh mixed
03 -
  • Use your sharpest knife for slicing, dull blades crush the vegetables instead of cutting cleanly and you lose that crisp snap
  • Arrange your platter on the counter where you'll serve it if possible, moving a fully loaded tray is when things tend to shift and lose that careful pattern
