01 - In a medium saucepan, combine oats, milk, water, cinnamon, and salt.
02 - Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
03 - Cook for 7-10 minutes until oats are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.
04 - Remove from heat. Stir in maple syrup or honey.
05 - Divide oats between two bowls.
06 - Top each bowl with banana slices, berries, chopped nuts, and chia seeds.
07 - Add any additional toppings as desired. Serve warm.
